Uxe Mentale is a project spearheaded by Argentinian artist Gustavo Eandi. harnessing his love of '90s counter-culture design language.

Established in partnership with the Lite Year team. Eandi handles the graphic elements with aplomb. using referencing Thrasher. Transworld. Tres60 Skate. and other skate-centric advertisements through his own artistic lens.

The latest release from Uxe Mental is part of a collaboration with Kompact Record Klub and features the phrase 'HOT MIX'. which was used in disco and reggae compilations in the 80s and 90s. The chosen graphic is known as the 'Lion of Judah' and is a cultural symbol of the reggae community while also being a parody of the K-Mart logo.
